Joe Biden has a long track record of lying, misrepresenting, and embellishing information about himself and events.
Here are some of his most prominent:
Biden said his helicopter was “forced down” near Osama bin Laden’s lair in Afghanistan
Biden said he was a coal miner
Biden said he was “shot at” in Iraq
Biden said he participated in sit-ins at segregated restaurants and movie theaters
When Joe Biden ran for President in the 1988 presidential cycle, he was caught lying about his academic record by Newsweek magazine. He confidently and falsely told voters in New Hampshire that he graduated at the top of his class, he earned three degrees, he won outstanding student in the political science department, and that he went to law school on a full academic scholarship. Biden actually earned only one degree (not three), he went to school on a half scholarship (not a full one), he was not named outstanding student at the political science department, and he actually finished near the bottom of the class.
Only a couple days after this revelation, Biden ended his presidential campaign.
